I went for a really long drive the second day I had my license. It was a nice day, right before sunset. Drove all the way to the Methuen Masjid, got a little lost along the way. Good experience though. And now I know how to get there :-). The licensing exam was really easy, but i'm pretty sure my parents didn't have much faith in me, but that's okay. The important thing is that ihave it now. Now that I can drive, مین کام اچھا سے زیادہ لی سکتا ھون so inshAllah that will happen soon. I've decided that pretty much I have no reason to stay at that job, especially when there are way easier ones that pay more money.
Ramadan
Ramadan in one week and one day. Masooma has a cool thing going on her blog. These are my goals, feel free to use or to give me ideas:
besides doing all the fard things,
1. Read entire Quran in English and Arabic
2. Memorize 3 new surahs
3. Memorize 3 new duas
4. Attend at least 15 taraweehs (last year I made them all but this year i work at night and it's just not gonna happen, i fear)
5. Learn the best ways to give dawah
6. Help clean the masjid and help out at iftaar as much as possible
